"The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:9
A struggle or trouble is not a one-time event. It is cyclical. Some things come in cycles. Life can teach us many things and I have learned that life is nothing but a series of cycles. I can tell my future by looking at the past. It is not something we like to hear, but it is true—history repeats itself. Cities, names, and factors my be different, but the story-line is the same.
You might change churches, but too often we find the same mess we just left. I have discovered that no matter how hard you try, you cannot change certain events in your life, no matter how much faith you have.
It takes more than faith to walk through the struggle than to be delivered from it.I may not be able to stop things from happening, but I can do something about my gratitude towards it. It really does not matter what you go through; what matters is how you go through it. You see, storms do not break us—they make us. The process of faith is the ability to endure.
No matter what comes your way, you can make it become a pathway to destiny.Choose to face your current battle and determine to make it a bridge to bigger and better things. God is waiting for you. The first step is yours; then God walks with you.
"Through Christ, you are either up or getting up."
